Anna Lee, Deputy General Manager

Anna Lee is an experienced marketing communications professional in the Asia Pacific region with both in-house and agency experience. She has a strong network of media relations in the region and has extensive experience in corporate communications, integrated marketing, brand building, advertising, and event management. Anna also possesses in-depth experience in issues and crisis management in both entertainment/broadcasting businesses as well as fast moving consumer products.

Prior to joining A-World Consulting, Anna was Public Relations Manager at Lee Kum Kee International Holdings Limited, the worldwide leader in authentic Chinese sauces, a national enterprise with strong connections in China.  Her role includes government, client, media, consumer and employee relations handling, issues and crisis management, integrated marketing and corporate communications material production: video, collateral and newsletter.

Anna began her career in J. Walter Thompson (China) serving FMCG clients including Motorola, Nike, Lam Soon, Kraft and Warner Lambert.  She then joined ESPN STAR Sports, a premier sports broadcaster, the joint venture between News Corp and Disney. She was relocated to Singapore as Corporate Communications Manager, building strong relations with media and cable affiliates in the Asia Pacific region.  Anna later joined the global entertainment corporation, Crown Media International, a NASDAQ listed company, affiliation of the Hallmark Cards group as Associate Director, Marketing and Communications.  Projects she managed include Hollywood star tours, movie premiere launches and consumer carnivals at shopping malls.

Anna obtained her MBA from University of Durham Business School, United Kingdom.  She graduated with Higher Diploma in Translation and Interpretation from City University of Hong Kong.  She continued her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Linguistics in the same institution.  Anna is fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin. She also participated in Hong Kong Tourism Board’s events as Master of Ceremony and Hong Kong Commercial Radio as Disc Jockey.
