Focusing on ESG communication, Carol Fung is a seasoned PR and public affairs consultant, brand activation driver and strategic communication planner with more than 13-years solid experience in an agency environment.
Prior to joining A-World Consulting Ltd., Carol was Account Director at a mulinational PR consultant agency, where she was the account lead for the company’s key retainer clients including UNIQLO Hong Kong and Macau, Cartier Global Travel Retail and the Environmental Protection Department. She helps corporate clients formulate corporate communication strategies that align with the corporate’s purpose and business objectives so as to build the client’s thought leadership and personal/corporate brand.
In regard to her ESG communication expertise, Carol has notably initiated NGO strategic partnership to tailor PR and public engagement programs for clients. Carol has also assisted in ChinaChem Group and other social enterprises’ ESG communication and strategy planning.
With her strong interest in Japanese culture, Carol was involved in Japan corporates’ overseas marketing strategy consultation since she joined a leading listed Japanese PR agency from Tokyo at the beginning of her managerial role and had stayed there for more than 5 years. Her key clients included Japan National Tourism Organization, Consulate General of Japan in Hong Kong, JETRO Hong Kong, Shibuya109 (Harbour City), Osaka-umeda Shopping Complex, JR East Railway, Centrair. With her PR insight, she played an essential role in assisting the digital team of Vector to establish SNS platforms for UNIQLO Hong Kong.
Carol is also experienced in consumer marketing. She led a team in a boutique PR agency, as Account Manager and generated outstanding results in PR campaigns for shopping malls, retail chain stores and property developers. Her proven track record of implementing strategic marketing communication plans with different corporate and consumer clients is demonstrated by signature showcases included YATA, Sun Hung Kai Properties, Sino Properties, Wharf Group, Miele, Bless Hong Kong Campaign for Commission on Poverty of HKSAR government, The Link “Cheers Express”, Asia Para Games @ Plaza Hollywood, ICC Vertical Run for Charity and PMQ:Co-Creation Exhibition and so on.
Carol is a university graduate with a bachelor degree in Journalism and Communication from Hong Kong Shue Yan University, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. She is fluent in English, Chinese and Mandarin (Grade 3A) and basic Japanese (Grade 4).
